Participate in Erasmus, while keeping the ecological footprint clean? We gather ideas on how to make erasmus more sustainable. Anyone wishing to participate in this project is invited to contact us. To offer a first incentive, we have reserved a “sustainable travel budget.” We offer the following grants when presenting the vouchers: long-distance bus travel up to a maximum of 80,– travel by train up to a maximum of 150,–Biking trips up to 150, – 33 subsequent countries participate in the university program (in alphabetical order): depending on the resources available, the duration of the aid may be shorter than the duration of the stay. This is communicated in the commitment given to you before the start of the journey. 2. The administrative monitoring of your mobility and the awarding of scholarships are provided by the International Affairs Unit. In the spring (winter semester) or autumn (summer semester), we get in touch with the selected students. All administrative procedures for stays abroad will be discussed and you will be fully informed of the funding possibilities and Erasmus processes. In order to give you the opportunity to exchange with former Erasmus students, an information scholarship is organised twice a year, during which the “returnees” share their experience. If you would like to participate, please contact us. The unit`s employees accompany you on an organisational level through your mobility abroad.

To do this, software is used: Mobility-Online. Please register here if you plan to stay abroad. From now on, we, the employees of the International Affairs Unit, can advise you and advise you on your mobility. To participate in the Erasmus programme, students, teachers or other staff of the applicant institution must be “citizens of one of the countries participating in ERASMUS or be recognized as refugees/stateless persons and have a right of permanent residence in Germany.” It is also possible to take a language course abroad before the study stay. The language learning period can also be encouraged. This requires official confirmation of the success of the course`s participation to the International Affairs Unit. Students enrolled in German higher education institutions – including third countries – who are studying (completely) in Germany leading to a recognised degree can take part in the Erasmus programme.
